Tweed Escapes is a new brand created to showcase the best Experiences In Nature that the Tweed Region has to offer. Over the past six years and it has been our pleasure to share our wonderful cruises, road tours, experiences and the region with so many happy customers.
Now, we have created a range of unique experiences for visitors to come and enjoy, explore and share what the Tweed has to offer. Through our range of tours, staycations (coming soon) and daycations, we’re so excited to be able share more of the stories of the region with you! Tweed Escapes has evolved to include a new private tour and transfer vehicle fleet and other acquisitions, all to continue driving one of the Tweed Shire’s best tourism operations.
Over the past Tweed Escapes has worked in collaboration with multiple Tweed hinterland operators to improve the Tweed’s tourism offering by delivering a range of cruises and road tours that have focused on nature, history, local food and farm experiences, adventure activities and much more.
“It has been great to have so many happy customers touring with us,” Tweed Escapes representative Michael Simmons said.
“Now, we are expanding what we offer and with that, evolving into Tweed Escapes.
“This is a brand that will still feature the cruises and tours you love, as well as offer more experiences to enrich your time on the Tweed.
“Tweed Escapes is all about day-cations, stay-cations, local travel packages and multi-day experiences with us and our collaborative partners.”
Mr Simmons said as the business has grown, the products have developed “well beyond our original vision, and beyond our original name”.
“As we have partnered with figures from our local Tweed Goori Indigenous community, this now allows us to tell even more of the story of the land and culture of the region.
“We have always been big on sharing the stories of the region and now this is one of the founding principles behind the experiences we will be bringing you.”
